Next Steps for Lesson 1
We are excited to have you join us for How to Study the Bible. By choosing to complete the activity below you are taking a next step and applying what you learned this week. To get the most out of this course we suggest that you choose at least one of the Six C’s below and complete the steps before moving on to the next lesson.
For each of the Scriptures you choose:
- Read the passage. These specific passages are chosen because they give a good representation of what the Bible has to say about that particular theme.
- Describe how this passage is an example of the chosen theme and how it contributes to the Grand Story of the Bible. We highly recommend that you use a notebook or journal to start writing out these responses as we work through this study. Another option is to make notes in your Bible next to the verses.
- How does God continually demonstrate his faithfulness and love to His people in the passage?
