Read these Scriptures out loud:
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.” Psalm 92:12-14
- What does staying planted have to do with producing fruit?
- How does knowing that fruit is not for you, but for others change the way you view what you do?
“The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.” Ephesians 1:23
- Pastor Todd shared that if God wants to speak, act, or move He does it through His Church. How does that challenge how you see the part you play?
- What do you think it means to be Christ’s body?
