The Pathway to Purpose

• Pastor Todd shared how he and Pastor Julie went mountain biking (which went horribly wrong because they didn’t know the dangers of that outdoor sport). What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

• The purpose of Proverbs was to pass wisdom on to the next generation. Who passed wisdom down to you, and how did they do it? 
  • Who do you feel called to pass wisdom on to in this season of your life? 
• Pastor Todd talked about the Path of Wisdom. When have you found yourself off the path of wisdom? How did you get back on track? 
• How has God’s wisdom (and His Word) been a light for your path recently? 
• What warning signs have you been ignoring lately? How does knowing that God is trying to keep you from having regrets motivate you to listen to His promptings? 
• What payout have you experienced because you walked in wisdom or implemented a guardrail (e.g., peace, favor, health, financial blessing, protection, safety, etc.)?

Sometimes, when we find ourselves off the path of wisdom, we need help getting back on track. PRAYER

Father, thank you for loving us enough to give us guardrails. Holy Spirit, make us sensitive to your promptings and your guidance so we can stay on the path of wisdom. May we echo the Psalmist this week and declare that the boundary lines have fallen in pleasant places for us. Amen.
