How does talking about finances make you feel?
How has your relationship with money challenged your view of God as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider?

Read these Scriptures out loud:

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Pastor Todd shared that we need to be planted in order to produce fruit. How does being planted in the house of God bear fruit in your life?
How have outside circumstances challenged your trust in God?

1 Kings 17:9-16

What do you already have, that you haven’t yet surrendered to God? What habits, resources, or commitments in your life might God be nudging you to give over to him?
There was a quote in the message that said, “Sometimes God calls us to DO the UNTHINKABLE so we can SEE the IMPOSSIBLE” … How have you seen this in your life?

1. TRUST REQUIRES ACTION

Pastor Todd shared that trust requires action. What is an action you need to start taking or maybe an action you need to stop, in order to begin trusting God in the area of your finances?
How can you grow in the practice of generosity?

2. TRUST PRODUCES CONFIDENCE

Pastor Todd shared three simple words: PUT. GOD. FIRST. This is a principle of priority, known theologically as the doctrine of the preeminence of God.
He also shared that biblical Stewardship is understanding that God owns it all. As you honestly evaluate your life, is God the number 1 priority in every area? What area(s) have you not yet given God preeminence in? How can you go about putting God first in that area?
