The weekend doesn't have to end. Keep Talking on your own or with a group.

Start Talking - Find conversation starters for the group or with a friend.

  • Have you ever bought something that turned out to be a fake? Or something that wasn’t up to the quality that you thought it was going to be? How did you feel about that?
  • In what ways do we live differently because we know Jesus?

Keep Reading – Read the Scripture and ask a question to get the group thinking.

Read these Scriptures out loud:

1 Corinthians 6:15-16

Don’t you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which is part of Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! And don’t you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, "The two are united into one."
  • What does Paul mean that “the two are united into one?”
  • What significance does this have in terms of sexual relationships?

1 Corinthians 6:18

Run away from sexual immorality in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written.
  • Why do you think the Bible uses the imagery of “running away from” sexual immorality?

Keep Talking – Choose questions to create openness.

1. Sex Was God’s Idea

  • What does the fact that Adam and Eve were naked and felt no shame tell us about God’s intentions for sex?

2. Sex is a Sacred Thing

  • What does “sacred” mean? How does that inform our views of sex?
  • Why is it important for sex to be within the design that God has for it?

3. Confess it – Don’t Conceal It

  • Pastor Todd told us that what remains hidden cannot be healed. Why is it important to confess both to God and to one another?

Keep Moving/Going – Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • What are some ways we can practically run away from sexual immorality?
  • Pick one of this week’s key Scriptures and make it a reminder in your phone. Spend a few minutes repeating it and thinking about it each day.
  • S.O.A.P out the Scripture this week.
