Organizations Caring for Moms and Children

Learn more about how you can be a part of the solution.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Psalm 139:13-14

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10

According to a 2023 report from the Christian Alliance for Orphans, there are nearly 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S.—and Florida accounts for over 23,000 children in out-of-home placements. According to their data, over 5,000 children are waiting to be adopted in Palm Beach County alone.

Valuing life goes beyond advocating for infants in the womb. It means showing up for kids who are in shelters and foster care. It means adopting kids so they can grow up in a Christian home and supporting moms who are in crisis. Valuing life doesn’t mean picketing, being a keyboard warrior, or judging those facing a difficult situation. These actions won’t help people grasp the truth of what God’s Word says about life—and it certainly won’t convince people that God loves them!

Instead, we must have loving conviction and deep compassion—and we must also act on behalf of moms and children in need.

For years, Christ Fellowship has partnered with several organizations in our local communities that serve mothers and children. Through these partners, we aim to help those seeking resources around an unexpected pregnancy so they can ultimately choose life and care for their children. We encourage you to be a part of the solution by learning more about these organizations and how you can make a difference too.

Organizations Caring for Moms:

Care Net
Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, Care Net offers compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support through our life-affirming network of pregnancy centers, churches, organizations, and individuals.

First Care Women’s Clinic
The women who walk through the doors of First Care are often scared and sometimes alone, looking for answers. As they struggle with their unplanned pregnancy, First Care offers them love and support while providing them with free services such as pregnancy tests and ultrasounds. It is First Care’s goal that through these services and the support we provide, they can help women choose life for their unborn children.

Hearts for Moms
Through our ongoing partnership with Hearts for Moms, we’re helping break the cycle of poverty through a full-circle strategy that equips single moms with life skills and mentorships that increase their capacity for personal and spiritual growth. Through Hearts for Moms, you can get involved in various serving opportunities like mentorship, adopt-a-mom, and more.

Organizations Caring for Children:

Place of Hope
What began as a vision in 2001 in the hearts of Pastors Tom and Donna Mullins, Place of Hope is a faith-based, state-licensed children and families organization offering housing and support services designed to end the cycles of abuse, neglect, homelessness, poverty, and human trafficking. Offering support to children, youth, and families in desperate need, Place of Hope is one of the largest and most diverse residential children and families organizations in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

4KIDS
4KIDS is propelled by the vision of a home for every child. Whether that is a child removed from their home for the first time, siblings who need to stay together, a young mom in an unplanned pregnancy who needs refuge, or a young adult who needs a place to belong, 4KIDS is there with hope and homes. 4KIDS brings hope to babies, kids, teens, and young adults by providing safe and secure environments for healing, equipping parents and caregivers—who are trained to love kids from hard places—essential resources to meet their physical needs, nurturing counsel to help them thrive, and a renewed sense of value in their hearts.

The Hands and Feet South Florida
The Hands and Feet delivers help and hope by serving South Florida families with an open DCF case through the delivery of basic necessities within 48 hours of a need.
