Lonely/Victim Mentality

Verses

If God is for us, who can be against us?...In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves us. (Romans 8:31, 37)

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. (Matthew 5:44)

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5)

Declaration

God tells me that, in Christ, I am not a victim but a victor. I am an overcomer, and I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. I am never alone! I will forgive those who have hurt me, so I can move forward and grasp the life God has for me.
