Q: What happens to my money when I give to Christ Fellowship Church?
A: At Christ Fellowship, we adhere to high standards of biblical accountability and financial transparency as our leadership stewards the resources that have been entrusted to the church. In addition to operating debt-free, there are numerous processes in place to ensure financial oversight. These processes include, but are not limited to:
- Oversight and accountability by the Board of Elders and all levels of management.
- Annual certified independent audit.
- Strong internal controls of donations received, authorized expenditures, and handling of funds.
- Monitoring and reporting unusual or fraudulent activity.
- Strategic planning for financial stewardship.
- Realistic revenue projections.
- Budgeting at multiple levels across the organization.
Q: What is the best way to give?
A: PushPay is our primary online giving platform that allows you to choose your campus and give a single gift or schedule recurring giving using your checking account, debit, or credit card. To ensure that your gift has the largest impact possible, you can set up electronic giving directly from your bank account in order to avoid processing fees that go to credit card companies. In addition to giving online through PushPay, there are additional giving options for your convenience.
Q: What is the deadline for annual contributions?
A: All contributions must be received in the finance office by 5PM on December 31 (or postmarked by December 31 if mailed) to meet IRS deductibility guidelines and to be reflected on your annual giving statement for that year.
Q: What is PushPay?
A: PushPay has been Christ Fellowship’s electronic giving partner for over six years. They believe that generosity facilitates the spreading of hope, healing, safety, and compassion and exists to make giving quick, easy, and secure for our church family.
Q: How do I edit my information in PushPay?
A: In order to edit your information in PushPay, visit https://pushpay.com/login and log in using your cell phone number.
- Enter the 6-digit security code received by text.
- Under the “Home” menu, select “Profile.”
- Edit your personal information and select “Update”.
Q: How do I view my giving history or giving statement?
A: Giving history can be viewed by logging into PushPay and selecting “Transactions,” located under the “Home” menu. Annual contribution statements are sent via email at the end of January for the prior year.
Q: Can I give assets to the church?
A: Yes! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 561.776.3380 Monday through Friday. Please note, we are not currently receiving cryptocurrency.
Q: Can I give if I live outside of the United States?
A: Yes, you can still give via PushPay or by wire transfer.
