Once you find a potential counselor that looks like a good fit for you, we encourage you to spend a few minutes interviewing the counselor on the phone. You can ask questions about their faith, their approach to working with patients, their philosophy, and whether or not they have a specialty or concentration.
Some good questions to ask include:
Are you Christian?
What are your core values?
Are you issue-specific?
What are your specialties?
Do you work with children?
Do you take insurance?
We encourage you to discuss the symptoms you have observed and if you like what you hear, the next step is to make an appointment.
