Life Academy at Christ Fellowship Belle Glade

Saturday Program

The Saturday Program focuses on two things: recreation and relationships! Each Saturday we provide a safe and fun environment for students to enjoy a meal together, hear engaging Bible teaching and story-telling, participate in recreation, games, and activities! There are many ways to be a part of the Life Academy Saturday Program Team.

  • Team Leader - Facilitate a game, activity, sport, or meal. Team leaders are the point person for each element of Saturday Program and work alongside staff and a team of volunteers, seeing the activity through from start to finish.
  • Volunteer - Join us for any Saturday of the year and see what we’re all about! You’ll be placed on a team and given the opportunity to engage with students in a hands-on environment.

Weekday Program

The Weekday Program focuses on three things: education, recreation, and creativity. During the week we provide tutoring, academic counseling, recreation, and leadership development every Monday through Thursday. There are many ways to be a part of the Life Academy Weekday Program Team.

  • Classroom & Elective Leader - Classroom Leaders help to facilitate learning and growth within specific grade levels. They build relationships with students and help them grow personally and academically. They will also help lead electives that help students with their creativity (such as sports, cooking, step team, science, art, and more). Grades are split as follows:
    • K - 2nd Grade
    • 3rd - 5th Grade
    • Middle School (6th - 8th Grade)
  • Program Support Team - Assist staff and volunteer team by serving administratively, either in-person or from home! On site, we will ask that you help us in assisting with meal preparation for kids and students.
  • Events - Celebrate the milestones in student’s lives through the preparation, planning, and execution of events. Annual events include: Back to School Bash, Family Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Dinner, and our Life Academy Christmas Party.
